The safe startup of micro gas turbine (MGT) generator system is the premise normal operation. whole start-up process contains motor startup, ignition, speed acceleration, switching to and power acceleration. Motor happens at self-sustaining state, which significant process. However, characteristics MGT state are hardly investigate due lack performance maps complete experiments. Therefore, this work analyzed schedule presented a theoretical experimental study on system, based self-designed 30 kW built in Jiangjin Turbocharger Plant, China. boundary fuel consumption area determined from aspects startup. A novel principle for determining point (SSP) proposed. Results show that can be achieved only when over 26,750 rpm, SSP 30,750 rpm proposed principle.
